This week went by crazy crazy fast. On Monday, after we went
shopping we went to a field with the youth. The field was huge and pretty and
the backdrop was literally a volcano! SO I played soccer and kickball with the
volcano just casually behind us. It was awesome.
Good news! Tuesday I didn’t have to get up at 3 in the
morning, we got to leave at 6:30 instead!
Anyway, Tuesday Elder Rasband came to
speak to the missionaries in Nicaragua. My favorite is probably when all of us,
the missionaries, apostle, one of the Seventy, mission presidents, stake
presidents and their wives all sang Called to Serve. The spirit and joy felt in
that room! Elder Rasband’s words were so amazing and reminded us to never
forget we’re missionaries. In whatever situation we are in, to never forget
that we are missionaries. There are people that their time is now and we don’t
know who they are, but that we need to find them. He came to Nicaragua for a
meeting with the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega. There is going to be a
temple here soon, I just know it! Then that night me and Pacheco ordered a
pizza that took literally an hour to arrive, but it’s fine.
Oh last night I found a huge cockroach which is fine, it’s
normal and I grabbed the repellent and matches that are always handy and set it
on fire and almost set the whole kitchen on fire hahahaha. I was so focused on
killing the bug that I didn’t realize how I was doing it!
Anyway, this week should be good and then it’s transfers
next week!
We are going to the hospital after this to visit the bishop
and then shopping.

Esta semana pasó
súper rápido. El lunes, después de ir de compras fuimos a un campo con los
jóvenes. El campo era súper grande ¡y el fondo era literalmente un volcán!
ASIQUE jugué fútbol y ‘kickball’ con el volcán casualmente atrás de nosotros. Genial.
¡Buenas noticias!
El martes no me tuve que levantar a las 3 de la mañana, ¡nos pudimos ir a las
6:30!
El martes el Elder Rasband vino a hablar a los misioneros en Nicaragua.
Mi parte favorita fue cuando todos, los
misioneros, el apóstol, uno de los Setenta, los presidentes de misión,
presidentes de estaca y sus esposas cantamos Llamados a Servir. ¡El espíritu y
gozo que se sintió en ese lugar! Las palabras del Elder Rasband fueron maravillosas
y nos recordaron nunca olvidar que somos misioneros. En cualquier situación en
la que estemos, que nunca olvidemos que somos misioneros. Que hay personas que
su tiempo es ahora y no sabemos quiénes son, pero que los tenemos que
encontrar. El vino a Nicaragua para una reunión con el Presidente de Nicaragua,
Daniel Ortega. ¡Yo sé que pronto va a haber un templo acá, lo sé! Esa noche
Pacheco y yo pedimos una pizza que tomó literalmente una hora para llegar, pero
bueno.
Oh, anoche
encontré una cucaracha grandota que está bien, es normal, y agarré el repelente
y fósforos (cerillos) que siempre están a mano, y le prendí fuego y casi quemo
toda la cocina jajajaja. ¡Estaba tan enfocada con la cucaracha que no me di
cuenta de lo que estaba haciendo!
Bueno, esta
semana va a ser una buena semana y ¡después son cambios la próxima!
Ahora vamos al
hospital a visitar al obispo y después de compras.
